In order to achieve this form, he absorbs the life and/or fighting force of Heihachi (or Jin if the player is playing as Heihachi) in Tekken 3. All of the jewelry worn by Ogre in his previous form has disappeared, save for two leglets and one armlet. In this incarnation, he no longer resembles a human, sporting a large, grotesque frame, dark brown and gray fur, a monstrous face, wings, horns, and a large Viper snake (or several snakes in Tekken Tag Tournament 2) in place of his right arm. Ogre's second form stands not much taller than its first but is hunched over to an extent due to the extreme metamorphosis. He was worshipped as the 'God of Fighting' by ancient human civilizations. It is implied that he is of a very old, but very powerful origin. He also has a small round shield that is said to be the fabled Stone of The Sun, the Aztec Calendar, attached to his left arm. He is adorned with various types and pieces of old Aztec jewelry and a large golden helmet/crown with very long orange hair. Ogre's first (or ancient) form resembles a tall, muscular man with dark green skin. In Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (as True Ogre), it is shown that he has a predatory instinct, as seen in his Continue? cutscene if and when the player loses to him on Stage 8. In his first form, Ogre is capable of speech (as seen in his winning animations) but speaks in an unknown, ancient language. Very little information is given on the character's personality or story, but what it does describe says that Ogre "understands entire structures of all living and artificial beings, and absorbs them". PersonalityĪlthough Ogre sometimes appears like a wild beast, he is actually a sentient being. Heihachi was able to have his scientists collect various genetic samples from Ogre - however, he failed to augment himself with any of its power due to genetic incompatibility. Jin then stepped in and killed True Ogre. Paul was able to overpower Ogre, but, believing the match to be over, he left before Ogre morphed into its true form. Ogre appeared at the tournament’s final and was pitted against Paul Phoenix. When Jin’s training was complete, Heihachi announced the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3, believing that a gathering of strong fighters would draw Ogre out so that it could be subdued. He began training his grandson, Jin Kazama, who was determined to take revenge on Ogre for the apparent murder of his mother. Heihachi Mishima, the head of the Mishima Zaibatsu business conglomerate, had ordered the excavation of the temple and believed that he would be able to attain great power by capturing Ogre and using its genetic material to enhance his own strength. Jin was knocked unconscious in the attack, and his mother was nowhere to be found when he stirred. Ogre also attacked Jun Kazama and her son, Jin Kazama, at their home. Among its victims were King and Baek Doo San. It wiped out the squad and then began seeking out powerful martial artists so that it could fight them and absorb their abilities, killing or badly wounding them in the process. Ogre was awakened when a Tekken Force squadron excavated the temple it was slumbering in. At some point after its arrival on Earth, Ogre became inactive in a temple in Central America. It had an inherant understanding of the make-up of living and artificial beings and was able to absorb them. Ogre was a living weapon of war left on Earth by extraterrestrial beings in ancient times.
